Wegner Automotive Spring Newsletter 2020

May 18, 2020

Welcome to our Spring 2020 newsletter!

Here at Wegner Automotive, our client and community support are invaluable to the success and development of our company. To grow our community and provide a better picture of everything that goes on at the shop, we are excited to launch our newsletter and blog!

Ringbrothers Valkyrja 1969 Chevy Camao named Battle of The Builders Winner in 2019 powered by a Wegner Automotive 416ci LS3 Whipple Supercharged making 890 Horsepower.

For over 45 years, Wegner Automotive has set the standards for a variety of performance parts including our notorious accessory front drive-kits for Ls applications and our custom engineered race and street engines. A one-stop-shop that goes above and beyond your expectations. Our race engines have competed in almost every division of NASCAR including winning the BUSCH Grand National Series, competed in a variety of dirt and asphalt races, and have been featured in custom builds from high-performance automobile builders like the Ringbrothers and Roadster Shop, just to name a few. Many of our engines have also powered custom builds, like the 1969 Chevy Camaro “Valkyrja” by Ringbrothers and the "Furious Fritzy" 1968 Chevy Camaro by Straight Line Customs, that have won shows like SEMA 2020 Battle of the Builders and Detroit Autorama, respectively.

Carl Wegner founder of Wegner Automotive, previously Wegner Motorsports, standing by GM intake manifolds.

As many may know, Carl Wenger, the founder and legendary engine builder of Wegner Automotive, recently passed away leaving the shop in the hands of his wife and son, Jane and Casey Wegner. Casey has now taken over running the shop and continues his father's work. Our automotive research and development department will also continue to use Carl’s knowledge and practices to further perfect our porting process. As Carl said, "Perfect is barely just good enough". Wegner Automotive’s future is bright!
